Webb21 apr. 2015 · Hi Steve, The 737 NGX wind sounds (there are three seperate wind sounds blended together - not one) are controlled by the FSX sound engine - I would suggest setting all FSX Sound Levels to "50" except ATC for optimal sound levels. The engine sounds are more muted or muffled a little, which sound more realistic for what you'd hear from the flight deck of an NG. They are lower frequency (more bass), so more 'rumble' based.
