WebMay 7, 2007 · If your balloons are truly paramteric, you should be able to do a "Merge" of the two balloons. Table --> BOM Balloons --> Merge. Pick one of the balloons, then pick the balloon you want to combine the quantities with. As long as they are the same part, this should work. Apr 30, 2007. I copied an assembly within an assembly, changed the name of the copy, inserted it into the larger assembly next to its twin and started editing the copy, but any added part to it would show up on the model and idws but would not be ballooned or show up on the Parts List.

There should not be any problem have the BOM and view on different sheets. Also, to make sure your BOM doesn't change, make sure you do a fix on each line to lock them into place. Before you can add BOM balloons, you must create the table, add the repeat region, enter the desired report symbols, and designate the BOM balloon region. While in reality balloons are only linked automatically when the table is on the same sheet as the view! The image below shows a view for a single weldment on the second sheet.
